Problem with riding lawnmower

Starts right up and runs for about an hour then stops. Turns over but won’t start. Let sit for about 10 minutes then starts up and runs but will cut for about 20 minutes then stops again. What could be the issue? I’m thinking coil.

that is a reasonable assumption, 9 out of 10 times it does that, its the coil that is going bad
they arent super pricey ($15-$20) so replace it using a business card as spacer from the flywheel.

Mine did the exact same thing, ended up being the coil.
