The effects of roids is killing them all now. Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan now on the clock

Flair is 74 and Hogan is 69. They're both 100+ in wrestler years.

I thought Jesse Ventura was more of a Superstar Billy Graham ripoff than Hogan.

Didn’t Graham get a hip replacement in the 80’s, before it became commonplace for those with arthritis? Or at least he had avascular necrosis (that he attributed to steroids) in the 80’s.

This has to be a troll. Yeah I know it’s entertainment but it became a global event at WM3 Vince made a brilliant move by betting on himself and his wrestlers to put on the spectacle that was over 85,000 fans in the silver dome. The popularity exploded after that. And Hogan was the main driving force.

No troll. Hogan and McMahon created sports entertainment, drove the bus on steroids to force wrestlers to conform to a certain body type, and blew up kayfabe.

More people watched wrestling consistently across the country in territories than they ever do now.

But, the worst thing was ruining kayfabe and admitting that it was a show. People believed prior to McMahon/Hogan and relatively few got that injured. Now everyone knows it's "fake" and there are more injuries than ever. Why? They can't tell a story anymore. So, they solve it with high spots.

Modern day wrestling is a shadow of itself and you can thank Hogan and McMahon for that.

With that said, Lawler has probably drawn more money than anyone in pro wrestling history.

One more thing, Hogan couldn't pull a punch to save his own life. He's just horrible.
