Let me think about how many bikes I've had to navigate around on the road to and from work the last year. Oh, yeah.....none. They tend to stay off the interstate.
Motorcyclists are definitely a bigger issue. Have had multiple laydowns right in front of me over the last year, with at least one who likely died because the median poles with the taught guidewires don't move when a fleshy body plows them at 90+ mph.
