HB 464 proposes an increase in the penalty for concealed carry of a firearm by a felon. If Louisiana is going to go with no-permit concealed carry, this should be a high priority also.

What other "rights" does a felon lose? If not, then why is the 2A treated differently?

Why should a released felon, who has served their time, be unable to protect family and self or hunt for food to feed family or self?
