They traded her. So she's still employed with the WNBA, just in another city. And likely making comparable pay.
If I recall correctly, the Aces also got dinged for manipulating the cap. I'm curious if the manipulation happened because they're having to pay a player for 9 months to stay home pregnant for the second time in two years and they had to try to find someone of comparable talent to fill her spot.

It's got to be annoying as hell to be a WNBA GM. You go all in on rebuilding a team. Drafted great. Made quality trades.
Now all of a sudden 2 of your players you heavily count on are pregnant and have to miss an entire season.
