I don't see a problem with what she did.

I'm not a fan of drag shows and would never go to one.

She had a 21+ show for people who like that kind of stuff and sold out the restaurant. There are people who are entertained by drag shows and that's completely fine. They are no better or worse than anyone else.

That's the beauty of the USA. It's OK to have a different opinion.

I don't see this as an example of pushing the transgender agenda (which I have my own opinion about and I won't share). These were all consenting adults.

You choose to be offended by something. It's a lot easier just to ignore things you don't like.

The real question is: if true, was it legal for the landlord to cut off the AC and raise the rent?

I agree, but I wasn’t there. I think the crowd was mostly Republican leaning white females from the New Roads area that thought it was a funny/comedic event.

And it was 21 and older so I honestly don’t care.

I’ve not bashed the owner of the restaurant like other people have in this thread. But I am not sure believe everything that she’s telling the media - including the story about the landlord.

You ever heard about zoning ordanence? Drag shows are consider part of adult entertainment and adult entertainment requires approval. Its like saying "hey I am gonna have a strip show at my resturant" it doesnt work. What she did was illegal and thus she got punished and fined for it.

Also people dont want that type of adult entertainment venue in their neighborhood.

That's just what the public did...
