Big time 6’5 Forward Adehl Tac committed to South Carolina last night. They’re also the heavy favorites for 5 star wing Kennedy Smith who could announce any day now. Wondering if that will sway Joyce to LSU. If not SC will have a monster 2024 haul.

Yeah, that'd be an impressive haul, and would hit on prototype size/skill at key positions, like LSU did last class. It'd arguably be the #1 class of '24...
5-9 PG Maddy McDaniel #12
6-1 W Kennedy Smith #6
6-3 F Joyce Edwards #2
6-5 C Adhel Tac #33 (rankings drop due to January injury; was initially ranked #12 in early rankings)
...that is, unless UConn gets #1 F Strong, #4 G Ziebell, #18 W Cheli, #19 F Roberson
Texas may even make a claim if they pull off a shocker and add a surprise big name to #7 F Carlton, #8 W Lee, #43 PG Preston
If LSU closes with #1 F Strong, #3 PG Cambridge, & #96 PG Richard, it'd be stellar, but the positional imbalance would diminish a #1 claim.

Joyce is going to SC IMO. Tac commitment means nothing, both play different positions, once is a center the other is a forward.
LSU's class success or failure is gonna come down to Strong/Cambridge.

What's equally interesting is that just yesterday, Redus tweeted out a comment that women's basketball is growing as evidenced by the visible increase in wbb recruiting coverage.
Then he added, "We'll make sure to give you something to discuss pretty soon (googly eyes emoji)" talking to the scouts that do the player/team recruiting rankings.
