Trumps plan is to drag this out through the election and hope that he gets elected so he can then have all charges dismissed-
Which he can do if president although it will be incredibly complicated and messy.
Should he be unable to drag it out, he could be in for some rough sledding

They will use the theory he is ineligible/insurrection regardless, and will not accept a DEM defeat regardless WestExec will see to it. A real coup is about to happen.
They have the ability to run these simulations now, with a high degree of accuracy.
Simulation research has been done mostly in the open, using the DOE/DOD capabilities for epidemics, so forth. for a while now. Their Covid simulations were accurate. Now the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation are doing them privately/profit.
