He did not slug .500. He got 2 hits and they were both singles. He slugged .167 this weekend.

He also struck out looking with the bases loaded and nobody out. Grounded out to 3rd with the bases loaded and 2 out. Flied out in the top of the 8th following a Morgan leadoff walk.

You can’t have your 3 hole go 0/3 with runners on base and not even advance a single runner. He had 2 chances to blow that game wide open, which is exactly why he’s hitting 3 hole.

I would say most teams in the country wouldn’t be able to survive their 3 hole stranding 7 players on base in one game.

If only Dylan Crews hasn’t had a whole career of being great to let you know that this is more than likely a one off weekend for him.

He was referencing Dugas, not Crews
