Best avenue for a used-car loan in today's lending environment?

I haven’t bought a car in years, so let me start there, but Lightstream always had one of the better rates for a used car loan

USAA if eligible, credit unions, manufacturer financing for some certified used cars.

You can get 5-6.5% on cars less than 6 years old with good credit.

If you have bad credit or want an older car, you can search online lenders at bankrate.com.
