Aaron Nola was an All Star in 2018. It's had to say being a major league all star is a floor. But Skenes doesn't have a ceiling. He has all the potential in the world

He started pitching full time 3 months ago.
He throws 100, has about a 10:1 K to BB ratio, and strikes out nearly 18 batters per 9 innings.
His ceiling is the highest of any major league pitching prospect in the last 30 years.

He keeps getting compared to Strasburg as a college pitcher.
As a pro, I think he projects more of Verlander type. Big time velo that he can carry deep into a game, nasty slider and change. He’s even built like Verlander.

Yeah the more I think about it, Verlander is a great comp to Skenes. Would love to see him have a career like him.
