They make a simple way to determine if someone has Native ancestry.

It's called a fricking CDIB card. If they don't have one, it's stolen ancestry.

So you need to jump through US Government hoops to have Native American ancestry?

How about a simple DNA test? A lot of people have family histories that are oral traditions. My family on my mom's side had such. O% in my DNA though. A small amount in my mom's. Because we were talking about one person multiple generations ago. In modern times, no point in claiming anything like this unless you get a DNA test to verify it, IMO.
