Naw man, that burn is pretty much only from the dusting of extra seasoning on the crawfish in the ice chest. If you put your seasonings in the water like it should be, with some cut up lemons, your contacts won't burn from just one simple hand wash. Been wearing contacts for 30 years, and I only get burned by North La "steam and dust" crawfish boils. You can also rub your hands with lemons or lemon juice and it does the same trick. The lemons aren't just for flavor podnuh.

Always used dawn dish soap and cover your hands with table salt then do a quick scrub.

Bruh. If the seasoning comes off your hands with a hand wash and a little lemon you ain't putting near enough seasoning on them crawfish cuz.
