What’s wrong with Dugas?

Is he not seeing it well? Has struggled offensively and on defense. Should he continue to bat lead off? Seems that, at least for now maybe he moves back in lineup. We really somebody that gets on base a lot. He strikes out a lot

He went something like 1-7 or 1-8. I think he had an RBI. I think he scored a couple of runs. And I can only remember him striking out twice. It's not great, don't get me wrong, but I'm not panicking either.

Think his back or shoulder are still bothering him. Just something he’s gotta work through

Yeah, he'll be fine. Like I said, I'm not worried.

Forgot about the shoulder injury, seems he’s having trouble seeing the ball though., Just a guess from watching him really struggle hitting pitches and missing balls at second. Seems more than a shoulder. Hoping he gets well and steps up!! We need him

He has not been right since he came back from the shoulder injury, so it’s likely that he rushed it a bit.

Sure he doesn't want to miss his last season - deserves it

He takes every first pitch... almost always a strike. Alot of times he does the same with the second pitch, then swings and misses an outside pitch. I see him blinking his eyes. I'm sure it's his vision.

Why should I believe this assessment when your next statement is patently incorrect?

That would be a strikeout yet somehow in the last 3 games he has had 14 PA with 2 Ks.
He did have only 1 hit (a double) but he reached base 6 times with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored.
He'll get it fixed. He is not striking out, which means he is seeing the ball well enough to at least put it in play the vast majority of the time.

Well that’s strange as shite.

I do that all the time too, maybe that's why I'm not in the pros now?

i'd stick with it as my reasoning.

He seems to still be hurt but has been plagued with the injury bug in the past years. I m guessing he is trying to play through it for his last year. I t did not help his vision getting hit in the helmet with that wild pitch either .

I've never seen anyone put on glasses to run the bases.

I actually had broken it down into three parts. I can't hit for shite, I am a mediocre fielder and I have average speed. Now I have added a fourth, no one wants a fat 61-year-old rookie on their MLB team. Hell, no one wants a fat 61-year-old on their rec softball team.

He's K'd over 24 times in SEC Games or something close to that #

It’s a sand / dirt protection issue related to his contact lenses

He’s had enough of the mispronunciation of his last name. Won’t hit ‘til it gets fixed. Get it right Lynn!
