I sell life insurance and at LEAST 50% of the folks I quote are on antidepressants and/or anxiety medication.
One interesting thing I’ve also noticed: almost every lesbian couple I work with (especially those on the west coast) is overweight, diabetic, and on antidepressants AND anxiety meds.

I’m a broker/producer and just wrapped up 6/1 renewal meetings this week and can confirm that it’s a startling statistic. Top rx spends, regardless of client types, are always anti-depressant/anxieties, diabetics, and hypertension. Oddly enough, the weirdest trend we share this year was an uptick in osteoarthritis spend in rx and med. oddly enough, they all related. Lazy and obese people get depressed. arthritis, diabetes, and hypertension.
