"We" as conservatives, do not need to be adopting the same language as the left vis a vis "hate crimes." I did not like it when Trump referred to "hate crimes," and I don't like it when ANYONE refers to "hate crimes." It is a meaningless distinction and there is no such thing as a "hate crime" under our Constitutionally-established government.

Yea, hate crimes are abused now and will be more abused as ideologies from both sides shift further away from each other.

You don't agree with someone in FL? Just say they were harassing you under this new law.

The private property part seems redundant and unnecessary unless FL didn't have private property laws to begin with.

Many, including the governor, are behind it.

"I just want us to be responsive to that. The vast majorities of these instances have had red flags," he said. "The Marjory Stoneman Douglas report made that clear. So I think we need to identify that and do something about it."

You probably don't want to do this given your guy's many many many comments on red flag laws, and his blatant anti- 2nd Amendment actions.

Can we get back to discussing why this law was needed and what it actually accomplishes, if anything?

It seems completely unnecessary.

But it was passed by the legislature Unanimously.

Passing laws just to pass them is stupid.
