I'm a 3 pitch pitcher." Vasquez says "you should start throwing it again because everything off speed breaks toward left handed hitters. It'd be good to have something going away from them." That conversation works its way to Maldy somehow who tells Pressly "yeah its not a bad pitch but we're not going to throw it in a game. We don't need it." Pressly threw his first one when Maldy accidentally hit the change-up button on his pitch comm. It turned out to be a weapon pitch, critical in the playoffs and he's throwing it 10% this year.


What's the point of Maldy?
