Impressive the batting avg and slugging so far this season compared to 2009. Cause the bats then were before the drastic change of the bats.

However, pitching ERA should be lower in 2023 when you factor in the change of the bats.

It's even more offensive now than in 2009. HR rates are approaching late 90's levels.

I think they flattened the baseball seams around 2015
