but I find it a bit mind boggling that any position player on the team is not at least passable at any position at this level, in a pinch, seeing as these Braxtons and Jaxtons have done nothing but live and breathe this their entire lives to get here
You know, he probably is. Wasn't he playing at LSUE before coming here? They've won the CC title a few times.

It was an awful play to watch, and I won't deny that. But dude overran it out to foul territory in a hurry, like he was chasing a foul ball, then had to backtrack. Not sure what he saw with the ball coming off the bat.

Just for sake of discussion, there was a foul ball by LSU later, that the announcer said "that's hit out in the parking lot"... the Kentucky outfielder kept running like he was going to make a play. It landed about 3 rows back. Things seemed to be drifting back towards the field over there. I know they said wind wasn't a factor, but that's at least 2 balls that seem to indicate otherwise.

Wind can be crazy. I get gas at a station in Central, there always seems to be a 10+ mph wind there, even when things are still everywhere else. I think it's the heat coming off the big parking lot across the street.
Is there something similar outside the Box?

To be fair, if you weren’t there too… that ball was hit a mile in the air. Don’t know if it came off like that on TV. Like you were just saying, everybody struggled finding those high hit balls all night.

We saw it Friday with Kentucky and tenn dropping a couple of them too.
