No! I don't think things are too good between him and JL. I'm sure Byrd does not like getting his arse chewed about drops when JL throws pick6's and gets CONSOLED after it.

Byrd deserves a break. If the guy doesn't play like he did last year, we don't have a NC! Remember the Auburn catch? Yeah, he has had some drops. I'm sure he has caught some bad passes as well. The fans are frustrated, to say the least, about JL's play. But nobody can be MORE FRUSTRATED than the WR's.

He absolutely does not.

He is a senior. He should be a leader on this team. Instead, we have to see him waving his hands in the air, yelling on the sidelines, him being quoted saying something to the effect of Lee having to get off to a hot start, cause if he doesnt, he can throw 8 INTs.

I'm pretty annoyed with Byrd right now. Lafell is a TRUE leader, and is making plays left and right, so Byrd has no excuse.

Amen. And they show it in lack of effort many plays, for which they get their arse chewed. The difference - coaches not likely to chew you for mistakes if there's effort (ala JL), very likey if there is no effort (ala WRs in some cases)

Disagree.

He seems to be almost pouting because a bad year at QB is ruining his chances for the draft. Does that sound like a team player?

That's hwy JUCO's are such a gamble. That being said, I think D Byrd will be back to normal in the last three games.
