I'm only going to list the teams that matter here. Who's your pick to win it?

East:
Vandy 11-1 USC, @UT, UK, @Alabama, @UF, Ark
S. Carolina 9-2 @Vandy, UF, Auburn, @UK, @Arky, UT
Kentucky 9-3 @LSU, A&M, @Vandy, USC, @UT, UF
Florida 9-3 UGA, @USC, Mizzou, @A&M, Vandy, @UK
Tennessee 5-7 @Arky, Vandy, MSU, @UGA, UK, @USC

West:
Arky 8-4 UT, @UGA, A&M, @MSU, USC, @Vandy
LSU 7-4 UK, @OM, Alabama, @Auburn, MSU, @UGA
A&M 5-7 Mizzou, @UK, @Arky, UF, Alabama, @MSU

Winner of the Vandy/UF series wins the east (and SEC)

I would say LSU easily in the west, but those pitching injuries will keep Arkansas and aTm in the mix.

You will see UK drop like a rock, and SC come down to reality shortly. LSU might have been able to start them on that journey if it wasn't for the weather. UT finishes third in the east.

Top 8 - Vandy, Florida, Arkansas/LSU (winner of the west)

9-16 - Arkansas/LSU, maybe SC, Tennessee, aTm

Florida in the east and LSU in the West. Florida will have the best record over all.

To say LSU’s sec schedule was front-loaded is a massive understatement. The last 5 series are against the 5 worst teams in the conference.

Pitching will keep us from sweeping series like we probably should. That will make the difference. I’m picking Vandy or UF to take the SEC but we will keep a top 8 seed which is all you need to set yourself up for a run at Omaha.

I think it will do some good to motivate LSU for the postseason. We’ve faced nothing but tough teams so far. Will be interested to see if we can dominate the lesser competition coming up

I still like Vandy and Florida to be a close 1-2 which doesn’t really matter…both will be over 20 wins.

LSU and Arkansas will be out of the west.

Those are your four potential national seeds.

Arkansas is dealing with more pitching injuries and A&M won't win 20 games

Such an odd statement

Vandy, Florida, LSU, USCe, Arkansas and Tennesee all have a great shot at top 8 seeds right now

Tennesee and LSU started their seasons with absolute gauntlet schedules

This is a tread asking for prediction of the remaining schedules. I said I expect SC to drop off some. In case you still can't understand, I expect Florida to handle South Carolina in the series, and out pace them in the other games.

Which is why I said, "mainly Arkansas." We can't sit here and give credit LSU for a brutal opening part of the SEC schedule, and ignore aTm's brutal start. LSU handled it better, but aTm does have an opportunity to make a run. I'm also not going to sit here and pretend that LSU's pitching situation (both starting and bullpen) will not cost us a few games we could have otherwise won.

It would be an odd statement if we were talking about where teams are RIGHT NOW. Again, that's not what this thread is about though. I'm predicting where I expect them to finish, not where they are today. And if you think the SEC will have 6 of the 8 top 8 national seed spots, then you are you even dumber than you came off in your post.

I think south carolina is more in the mix in the east then people in this thread are letting on. I think them, vandy, florida, and lsu are the dominant sec teams. Tennessee has a gauntlet to run and they are already behind, i dont think they are gonna be a top 8 seed

They have to play at arkansas, at south carolina, and host vandy. And kentucku at home. Feels like theyd need to go at least 14-4 the rest of the way to host a super. Not likely

I think SC gets to around 17 wins. That keeps them in a good spot, but I'd be surprised if they can keep pace.

20-9 or 19-10 seem likely for them in my opinion

Just gimme a 1-4 seed in Hoover and Supers at The Box. I’ll be content.

They're 9-2 and a top 5 team in the country and you think they're going to finish out 8-10 for a 17-12 finish?

Lol hey any chance you would like to do do some gambling with me?

Save this thread, and feel free to bump it if I'm wrong.

@Vandy
UF

I would think they lose 2 of 3 in both of these. Wouldn't be surprised if they get swept in one. That puts them at 11-6 or 10-7

Auburn
@UK

I think they take 2/3 in both of these. That puts us at 15-8 or 14-9

@Arky
UT

Again I think they lose 2/3 in both of these. That's 17-12 or 16-13.

We have already established that you aren't very bright, but 17-15 equals 32. An SEC schedule is 30 games, but the max SC can play is 29.

How many more conferences loses for us assuming we get all games in? Best-worst realistic? 3-6

I'm leaning 3 to 4 optimistic

I will be pissed if Arky keeps pace with us the rest of the season in the West and ends up winning the West due to us playing one less conference game.

A&M would have to win the Florida and Arky series. Then basically sweep the rest. It’d be quite the turnaround, but I don’t see that remotely happening.

I think 5 more conference losses is realistic, 3 on the low side and 7 on the high side

Yeah my 3 is probably a pipe dream on the low side and my 6 ur 7 seem close high end. I originally picked 21-9 and looking at soft backend, coupled with our pitching circumstances n strong bats sitting on 4,and missing a game if we pick up between 4 and 5 more that would put us in a very good spot not only seeding I hope, but in getting some younger arms experience and getting some recovering ones back.

Edit: tell ya what josh....I played pickem this year and I felt lucky to make pg 1 nfl n bowl game finals I looked up and always saw you smoking the picks so if you say 5 I'm taking that to the bank because I have no idea how you do that...I know it's not easy lol.
