re: Single Hung vs Double Hung

not a deciding factor, but the contacts for my home security system are on the bottom of the window, so having double hung I can sleep with the top pane down on cooler nights and still have that zone secured without having to bypass. Not that in S. LA that weather happens very often, just saying.
