They are bodyguards, not special ops fighters. However, they are heavily armed and are trained to use weapons.

Most of the Presidential detail carry FN P90 sun guns. They have 59 rd mags and have a shoulder sling for easy carrying under the sport coats.
Most Presidential detail SS are some of the best shooters in the US. Probably only ones better are US Air Marshall. I have heard delta force and DEVGRU guys say the air Marshall gun qualification is the toughest in the world.
