This whole setup has been weird. It has been a while since I've seen the models and CAMs struggle, even up until storm initiation, to come into agreement.
That's why some people have questioned the SPC going ahead with the Mod upgrade, especially for the northern mode. The threat just seemed too conditional up that way to warrant the bump. Just weird all the way around. Farther south is a little different and maybe not so conditional.
