I’m not okay with Reese getting in her opponent’s face after the win. I’m also not okay with Burrow’s antics. It’s the opposite of classy and good sportsmanship. Talking smack can be fun before a game, but once the competition is over, it is just petty and classless. We teach our kids to be classy after wins. If you can’t say, or do something nice, then don’t do anything at all. That ugly behavior is accepted by much of society, and I think we’re worse for it. I teach my teams to give their all, and we win a lot, but afterwards I want them to congratulate their opponents for their effort or anything else that doesn’t rub the wound more. It didn’t make me proud to see her rubbing it in.
