I would like to take my son on a dove trip. Are there any Outfitters you would recommend?

No recommendation other than this. The farther south you go the less likely weather is going to screw you. In the Katy, Eagle Lake, El Campo areas.... we can be absolutely covered in birds and a good rain moves through and they are gone.
Just something to consider.

Dry Creek Outfitters
They usually have birds.
They'll put 2 of you in a bigger group you won't know and that is a justified concern to some people.
If you can put together your own group of 20+ guys, you'll get a field to yourselves and save a little money per head.
I've been on dove hunts with them the last 8 or 10 years. Usually we have good to great hunts. They'll tell you if it's not going to be good and give you an option to reschedule. They are pretty stand up dudes.

If you want to do Texas dove hunting right, go to the dove capital for the state, which is Hondo and the area around it.
Here's one that I've been to before, they are on the pricier side so if you want something cheaper you may look into other guides, but I would stick around the Hondo, D'Hannis, Castroville area thats all SW of San Antonio.
