Why didn’t he tag on Crews fly out?

He thought it was dropping. Saw him tell the coach he messed up. He knows. Move on.

It was a big mistake. If Crews ball reaches the gap, Dugas scores easily. He should have been tagging.

Must read the fielder there. He had it all the way. Details matter in these type games.

Gotta see it down. If it’s in the gap you score easily anyway. If not, you should be able to take that base easily with the momentum of the RF taking him towards centerfield. Gotta be smart in these Friday games.

Almost every high school player will automatically tag up on a fly ball to right center/right field, ESPECIALLY with no outs.

I'd like to know if the 3rd base coach was yelling for him to tag up. Regardless, no excuse. Runs are too important in this series to give them away being stupid.
