I totally agree. I asked explicitly could I at least be given a cash out for those saved days...give me the rate of pay the sub would get and they said no.

Honestly, this is why I would just eat the days. The kids will suffer with a substitute and that would hang over me forever.

If he’s anything like the coaches that taught me in school, they might learn more from the substitute. Kudos to him if he’s better though.
