I don’t think scheduling is really up to the coach.

The LSU athletic office contracts with a meteorologist, for all sports, for weather forecasts. And as much as CJJ is known for details, safe to assume he uses the forecasts of a weather professional. And, as well, he has to work with the opposing team's HC...he does have control over the game times but he, and all the other sports' coaches, do work with the other HC's. We just took 2 out 3 from the #3 team in the country & the OP is bitching about the weather.

Why do you guys keep saying this? Moving the game times due to weather is about 90% up to the head coaches involved and 10% school and league administration. The head baseball coaches stay in close contact with their local meteorologists and move games based on their input.
