He's ahead of Sabonis as a passer at 20 and Houston doesn't even run their offense through him. Sengun is legit. We weren't going to take him though. We needed shootin
He can’t finish/shoot and his feet are in quicksand. Jonas is probably quicker than him. Young Jonas certainly.
I absolutely love watching him play though. Passing is off the charts.

Sengun shoots 68% from 0-3 feet and 50.5% from 3-10 feet on heavy volume. That 3-10 feet figure is especially elite. 72% from the line. 30% from 3 on zero volume. In the Euro tourney this summer, dude was actually shooting and canning 1 legged Dirk Fadeaways. So I think he has a lot more than what he shows/is allowed to do for the Rockets.
He def needs to clean up his ft’s and 3 pointers overall though. He is inconsistent on both. His ft routine drives me nuts (not the taking to the ball part) the part after that where he basically fidgets/fake jerky jerky shoots it 8 times before he randomly lets it fly.
Tbh, He didn’t play all that well against the Pels tbh. I think Jonas big arse was wearing him out. He’s Not a perfect player by any means, but very fun and only 20. I still think he will make several all star games before all is said and done.
He also has the extra benefit of working with Hakeem in the off-seasons.
Personally, I really like the kid, so I watch nearly every game of the Rockets on league pass. Tari Eason is fun too. He is Much improved from his time at LSU.
