People treating their dogs like people is one of my least favorite things about this generation.

But a large amount of people don’t like people and prefer dogs. It’s not just introverts either.

All the things to not like about this generation, and this is one of your least favorite?

Well there are regular threads on the OT that provide evidence that people suck so it seems very reasonable to treat a dog like a person in terms of some companionship and enjoyment.

My bat-shite crazy ex wanted to take her dog everywhere. The first night she stayed at my house she brought her dog. Just as we were getting into the nasty he jumps in bed with us and strays (she didn't want to neuter him until he had enjoyed sex!)
She always wanted to eat at "dog friendly" restaurants (meaning outside - weather usually chilly nine months a year in Asheville). When we ate at human restaurants she always brought him food because "he expected that".
When we went to a movie, I would have to park at the edge of the parking lot, put down a blanket and water for Cena, and tie him to the car. Even then she would usually leave the movie about half way through to check on him. (She would have arranged with the ticket taker to return - then ask me what happened while she was away).

It is right up there with the lgbtq movement. Straight up clown world.
Another sign of the regression and downfall of the US.

I agree with this 100%, and I’m a millennial.
Not having God in your life is what leads to this. You end up having your priorities all wrong and thinking that dogs are worth just as much as human beings and not understanding that human beings are inherently more valuable.
