You’re the one making the direct assertion that Trump simply cannot win the general in 2024. Seems like the burden’s on you to make your case. Please explain in detail.
Thanks
Thanks

Sure, here goes:
Donald trump won by a pubic hair margin in 2016 against the most unpopular candidate in Democratic Party history. He was a mystery outsider, and so a lot of people who were against both figures decided to take a chance on the devil they did not know, hoping that trump’s campaign conduct was just a ruse and he’d govern as a stable executive.
Unfortunately, those hopes were dashed quickly. Trump’s presidency consisted of constant staffing chaos, embarrassing tweets, infighting, incompetence in getting his agenda passed, and a complete unwillingness to appeal to anyone except his hardcore base.
His party suffered a 40 seat loss in the 2018 midterms despite a roaring economy and the recent Kavanaugh fiasco, as suburban moderates swung heavy to the democrats.
In 2020, the erosion with key voters got even worse, as trump lost heavy ground in places like the Atlanta suburbs, Phoenix, and the Milwaukee suburbs.
Donald trump is a significantly weaker political force than he was in 2016. A Down syndrome person could even comprehend this.
There is absolutely zero evidence that trump has somehow improved his standing in the suburbs. The opposite has happened.
But you guys can’t see it because you live in rural hamlets
