As mentioned above, Tekton is probably your best bang for the buck. They also have excellent customer service. Their quality is also very good for what you pay.
Most of the hard-line stuff is Taiwan sourced, but made in one of the top Taiwanese Tool manufacturing plants. The rest of the lineup has some good USA sourced items, such as their Crowsfeet sets and screwdrivers. A lot of their pliers are also USA made (by Wilde Tools) but not all of their pliers are.
I would stay away from Amazon branded stuff, most of it is cheap Chinese stuff.
