Mine has not mildewed at all. Still that high-vis yellow.
But I do have a couple of the Eley hose reels. Expensive but worth it. They really thought that reel out well.

Interesting. Both of mine were brown, so it could be a color thing? It didn’t bother me too much. I just hit them with Jomax a couple times a year when I cleaned my house. I liked the hoses.
