I'm fine with a caretaker like Dalton again.

SB here we come then right?

If we kept Dalton that is tanking buddy essentially.

And we would not be in better position. We would be drafting in the teens and wouldnt sniff the playoffs or SB And it would NOT usher us into what you consider a "SB window"

quote:

Theyre in a Super Bowl window

Even when they re-tool, you keep elite QBs.

So now you would settle for being a "playoff team in perpetuity" - your words and what the Bills currently ARE. They are what we hope to be - a playoff team with a hopeful shot at winning the SB.

Carr is nowhere near elite and we have the holes of a retooling team

No we don't - this team is solidly constructed and almost made the playoffs last year, with Dalton and a cascade of injuries.

And Carr is much closer to elite than ANYTHING OUT THERE THAT WE COULD GET. Not to mention far cheaper (ex. why folks mention Daniel Jones in this regard).

Youre just a ranter man. Karens gotta Karen.

Same chance with Carr in the short term

No we'd be slightly worse off and still a borderline playoff team. Nowhere near the first pick

It would give us a better shot than with our cap issues and the years it will take to fix

No they're a Super Bowl contender
