They didn't always air Sportscenter all night and day like it is now. I remember some fitness show on while waiting for it to air a very long time ago. They used to show a lot more recorded events like billiards, beach volleyball, sailing, etc instead of non stop Sportscenter all night and morning. But that was a very long time ago.

I feel like they showed more poker from around 2003-2009 or so. You don’t see poker on ESPN like you did several years ago.
