Does Shepphard Redshirt?

I think so. At 6'1 179 he is not nearly big enough to play QB in the SEC right now. He will need to bulk up or move to WR.

right cause 180 is too small for a qb

I'd like him to be 200-205. So he can take some hits. SEC is the most physical conference

all i'm saying is the number 7 or 8 recruit in the nation doesn't want to go to an elite program to redshirt...I'm sure Miles did some smoothe talking to get him here with playing time...

No he doesn't redshirt. He will be the change of pace/option QB. He'll be a stud, but Lee will still throw the ball to the other team waaaaaaaaay too much.
