Did Vandy lose a game in their opening series that year they had their run or did Tenn lose a opening series game last year?
IDC what Vandy or Tenn did. I personally subscribe that you win 2/3 with an occasional sweep, you’re winning 20+ games an a Top 8 seed from this conference. Hell, Ole Piss nearly didn’t make the freaking tourney LAST season.
Coach Bertman ALWAYS subscribed to the 2/3 philosophy ESPECIALLY on the road.

Damn can we just tip the cap to the aggies for grinding it out and making the plays when needed?

Absolutely.
Sweeps are lagniappe. The goal is to win the series in conference.
And you actually don’t need a single sweep to win 20 conference games if you win every series. (Although I will say a sweep helps to mitigate the random series most teams will inevitably lose)
