Never felt that team had a true leader unlike the year before that was less talented but had Ricky Blanton.

All the rest of Dale's 'good' teams had a couple guys who you knew the team followed. This one, it wasn't the case.
Shaq later became a leader, but he was a freshman here. It should have been Chris, but he was a loner... and a soph who had carried the team on the court last year, and leaned on Blanton.
