Brandon Miller and Gradey Dick are probably the 2 best shooters in the lottery. Miller will likely be out of range for where we draft. I think Dick is more of a late lottery guy so he would probably fit more in our projected range.

A guy I think is probably a good bet for us is Keyonte George. He’s a former 5 star freshman who is shooting a bit under 35% from 3 at Baylor, which isn’t amazing, but it’s on high volume and higher shot difficultly than some of these other prospects because Baylor gives their guards a lot of freedom in the pick and roll to pull up from anywhere. I don’t have his catch and shoot numbers handy, but I think his 3 pt % could get to a solid 37% with better shot selection in the pros, AND he would give us some of the shot creation we need as a secondary option off the bench.

Maybe he improves but I’m just not high on him. Only 6’4, doesn’t have a quick first step, struggles to create separation at the college level and has to take tough shots. Just kind of see him as a Jaden Hardy/Johnny Davis type. He’ll either be one or the other

There’s like 12 other guys I like more. But if we’re picking at 12 and the expected guys are gone already plus Hendricks and Dick I’d be okay with taking him.

The Hawkins kid from UCONN is pretty close. Pretty traditional, non switchable two guard though.
