Global Entry Conditional Approval Delays

My wife and I recently applied for Global Entry. We both already have TSA Precheck, but have some international trips planned and wanted to get Global Entry. We both applied the same day. I received my conditional approval the next day. It's been 3 weeks and my wife still hasn't gotten her conditional approval.
Anyone have experience with this and is it typical? My wife is a naturalized citizen, but wasn't born in the US. I'm wondering if that's the hold up. Just curious if anyone else has had similar experiences.

All depends on the persons background. I wouldn’t worry.

Download the CBP MPC (it stands for Customs and Border Control Mobile Passport Control) app (I mistakenly referred someone a few week ago to the MyTSA app, sorry!) Each of you add yourself as a traveler on your own mobile device, by taking a selfie and adding your passport info.
What this allows you to do is once you land, you use the app to fill out the customs information that normally goes on the paper slip they hand you. But, instead of going to the regular passport line, you follow the signs with the stylized "blue cop" for MPC. This brings to you the line where the crew go through (and people in wheelchairs, occasionally.) On average, at least in IAH and SFO, I have three or four crew in front of me from another flight.)
The only downside is that at *some* airports (looking at you, SFO), they'll inexplicably close the MPC line as multiple international flights are landing.
I know it's not your desired outcome, but at least this gives you a backup plan if she doesn't get cleared in time. I think a lot of people started thinking about summer travel and probably applied late winter/early spring. This seems to have increased passport renewal times, and that may be what is happening to the wife.

3 weeks?
Lol, my wife and I didn’t get approved for almost 4 months and both had TSA pre like you. No criminal records, natural US citizens, etc.
