Not a fan of these unibody “trucks” on car/crossover platform/frames.

I’m sure there’s a market segment for it, and actually that may include me… but the first major to introduce a true compact truck (ala Ranger or S10) should make bank.

IF that were true, they'd build them.

It's the same way with all the threads where everyone is like "give me a bare bones vinyl interior and they'd sell like hot cakes" except no one actually buys trucks like that. They have to be special ordered because the actual demand isn't there.

The maverick is the same size as the old ranger, just much roomier cab.
