On a rookie deal with highly paid veterans all around him. That was the poster’s point. Jackson isn’t Mahomes and can’t carry a team by himself to a Super Bowl. He needs talented vets and if he’s taking up Mahomes or Watson or Rodgers level cap space, he never will have that

Jalen Hurts led a team to a SB on a rookie deal.

If Lamar wants to take a $5M deal, I'm sure you can build a title-contending team around him. At $50M? Naw
