If you could promise me that we'd get the Pearson from last year, I'd be all for it because it accomplished 2 things.

1) Keeps Tre at 1st base

2) Puts a better defender in LF and a better overall hitter as well because 2022 Pearson > 2023 Jobert.

Problem is, we have no reason to believe right now that we'd get that Pearson. He has been terrible at the plate since the fall.

I don't believe that why would he not be better than last year.
Jobert has been given every chance to grab a spot vs Josh who has played rarly.

It’s so weird and kind of frustrating. Imagine having last year SEC-play Pearson in this starting line-up. A true sophomore at that. Just One of the most random, unfortunate slumps I can recall.
