As you watch another potential nationwide financial crisis percolate to the surface in CA, you need to understand the vast majority of SVB customers hate America First patriots, they loathe you. Peter Theil held up the red flag on SVB last week after he pulled the majority of his money out of SVB and then promptly advised others to do the same......SVB is reportedly leveraged 185/1 on risky startup business loans and it's holding billions in low yield government treasuries.....as the Fed raises interest rates to fight crushing inflation SVB and other banks holding government treasuries yielding less than 1% are taking it in the shorts and you're gonna take it too...
That's how this twisted system works.

Well, if you're a financially prudent and responsible American you're gonna pay for it. It's very likely you're gonna pay in additional bank fees and soon to be higher inflation for a longer period of time.....because J Powell now has the banking catastrophe he needs to justify dropping the Fed funds rate once again to save the well connected and to crush street level Americans who play by the rules. Forget 2-3% inflation, prepare for inflation over 5-6% for the foreseeable future once the Fed begins dropping rates and forget earning 4-5% interest on CDs and treasuries.

You have to accept the well connected use your prudent and responsible behavior as downside protection against their speculative financial ventures...., the well connected get all the upside while you handle the downside.....this is the US in 2023.
