Many non French settlers in La. began speaking Parisian French and Cajun French during the time when the French dominated parts of La. Also some non French people who had settled in Canada for a while came here with the others during the migration. That`s why some non French names in La. are considered Cajun names.

Not all French names in La. are Cajun French (from Canada during the migration), some are Parisian French (from France), it depends on the origin.

Yup

We chopped over to HMM-164(C) for a WestPac on the USS Okinawa. Ended up the first boats in the Gulf when Saddam invaded Kuwait.

He was killed in the crash after I got out.
