I'd get a lower level job at the hospital and make them pay for it. At that point, it is worth it.

True....an example is the CEO of the Houston Methodist system. Per their 2020 990 form, he made $4 million.

A friend of mine is the COO of a hospital in the Houston area and he made around $300k in 2020.

It's just an MBA with a healthcare focus. If you want to make a career in healthcare, you can't go wrong getting one.

I will say it seems like a career that requires moving around a good bit (which may not be much fun). The guys that I have known have ended up moving state to state in their career.
