If any of the legends besides Nelson get Emily Seebohm as a partner, they have to be considered favorites.
UK Theo is a great athlete and made some UK relay teams at world events. Emily Seebohm is a multiple time world champion and Olympic gold medalist.

Some poor lady is going to get stuck with Nelson.

And some poor guy is going to get stuck with Jonna.
They brought back Nia, I can't believe they couldn't have gotten someone like Emily Schrom or one of the countless girls better than Jonna. Shes terrible.

Can’t wait until they hype up a dominant mystery person joining half way through the season and it’s Aneesa.

Jonna did win an "All-Star" season, but yeah she really doesn't belong.
Laurel, Emily, even Nany would be better.
Or Kendall pulling from the "All Star" seasons.

Jonna has actually won two All Star seasons and came in third in the first All Star season (behind Yes and Darrell). I can't quite believe it either, but she's actually a great competitor now.

Jonna clearly doesn’t smoke or drink heavily anymore and isn’t spending her time hooking up with dudes since she is married and most of the people aren’t single.
She was always smart and a nice person but she got easily distracted. It didn’t help that people took advantage of her pretty laid back demeanor to yell at her.
When she came back heavier than before, I thought she would be an easy out but she has been really good on these seasons.

Not Nany, not by a long shot. Nany is terrible and has never won shite.
Jonna is actually better than she should be at this stuff. But agreed that Laurel or Emily would be light years better. Just not Nany.

Jonna gets picked first What was he thinking?

Yeah, but she has a lot of heart. And no one (except Aneesa of course) deserves it more.
I forgot that Jonna win two All-Star seasons.

wowwwww sarah and theo is a dark horse team for sure
how did she get him that late? im not entirely sure he shouldn't have gone 2nd after jordan (i realize wes went 1st).
super tough cast to rank but theo is undoubtedly better than multiple people that went ahead of him.

"Darrell has won 4, Jordan is a legend, Nelson's... fun."

Jonna has really worked on her game since her All Stars return. I definitely take back what I said about Nany being a better choice.

It looks like the first episode was shown on MTV but I think the rest is on Paramount +

Yes, it's on Paramount+, along with the international seasons. I watched Australia ahead of time (they are only 10 episodes I think, not drawn out forever) but didn't have time to watch the other two.

I watched the first two episodes on Paramount Plus.
The Argentines seem a bit out of their element as they are a) extremely relaxed and b) generally not as athletic as the rest of the cast.
Everyone is being pretty polite so far, but you can tell it’s killing Johnny that all of the new players think Wes is better than him, and that the most desirable players are Wes, Jordan, and Yes. Honestly, all of the male “legends” besides Nelson are great, and Nelson is in touch with reality and acknowledges this.
Curious if anyone besides Wes speaks Spanish. It’s a big help with the Argentines as long as they stick around.
Danny McCray is a very likable person so far.
Jonna is basically like a much more polite female Devin (current Devin). If a somewhat dumb workhorse with great cardio and a positive attitude is paired with her, that is a damn good team. And it appears that’s what happened.
