Remind me again, which party made folks dependent on the federal government? NOW you see that net negatives on the economy are a bad thing?
And when you look at federal aid per capita, the south is far behind the northeast and California.

Doesn't change the fact that southern states are dependent, partially because of policies, but also because they don't produce much.

It’s easy to look at a GDP chart and think it would be great but a new nation would have to establish favorable trade agreements not backed by the USA and it’s globally used currency and dominant military power.
And if the entire country breaks up than all of our economies will face substantial influence from the people who control the Yuan and the Euro.
The federal reserve is full of crooks but at least they are our crooks.
