Anyone have an idea on what guest greens fees are at NOCC and MCC?
TIA

It’s around 100 to 125 at MCC.

I think MCC was closer to $200. I don't recall the exact number, but I remember being shocked by the guest rate tbh. After tax maybe like $219. I'd have to call my accountant to be sure though

I bring a guest quite often. I’ll have to double check because I thought it was 100 and then 25 for the cart.

I played MCC on a Sunday couple weeks ago. With a glove it was over $200, think like $220

$200 to play Metairie fricken country club? What a time to be alive

It’s just an FU to the Members to have a guest fee that high. Not sure I’ve heard anything close to that high for an average country club. I think $200 would be high for CCL & Squire and both are vastly superior to MCC.

Keeps those guest numbers low.

They're not trying to encourage a ton of guest play. That's not the point of the private clubs. It shouldn't be some great value

Correct, 100-120 is fair for a true private club and most have a “you can bring the same guest X amount of times per calendar year” rule anyways. Most high end clubs are that price range across the country, anything over 200 is ridiculous to the guest and the member as well. I always ask to cover my guest fee and food/beverage in some way shape or form but I can’t remember when I asked what it was to see if I could accept the invite or decline it.

What I always love to point out is Augusta Nationals guest fee is $40

I didn't mind paying the fee, and honestly, I thought it was worth it. Just wasn't expecting that high of a guest fee. I guess it makes sense if they are trying to keep guest play down.

I'm not making the trip to play the place. I'll be in the area and have friends that are members. I'll call one and ask if they want to play and happily pay whatever the fee is. I'd just prefer to know the fees at both before reaching out and deciding where to try first

Hard to say MCC isn’t worth $200 in a vacuum where I paid $90 to play city park south and $70 to play the goat ranch that is Lakewood in the past few weeks.

If you haven't played MCC since the reno, I'd pick that one. I haven't played NOCC, so not knocking it. I just don't know that I've played a place like MCC in LA. It should be the model for how you turn a boring, bland gold course into something great.

MCC is 125 Tuesday through Thursday. 175 on the weekends. It’s is really nice since the renovation. As good as any in LA.

Find a member baw. I played for 70 bucks at 645 on a Sunday. I’ll probably end up joining out there soon.
On MCC and NOCC, I doubt either are concerned whether a guest thinks the greens fees are worth it. Unfortunate, but that’s how these places operate.
